Three past papers, one exam
The questions come verbatim from the official IMAT papers published by the Italian Ministry of University and Research for 2023, 2024 and 2025. Question 12 here is question 12 of one of those three papers, so every section keeps its official length and position, and the three years share the test twenty questions each. While you answer, each question shows which paper and number it comes from. The answer options are shuffled: in the official papers the correct answer is always A.

How the score works
A correct answer is worth +1.5, a wrong one −0.4 and a blank 0, for a maximum of 90. 20/90 makes you eligible for the ranking; admission then depends on the ranking and the seats. To see what a given number of right and wrong answers is worth, use the IMAT score calculator.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these the real IMAT questions?
- Yes. Every question is taken verbatim from the official IMAT papers of 2023, 2024 and 2025, published by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR). Italian official exam papers are public acts and carry no copyright. The explanations are written by UniTest Pro.
- Why mix three years instead of one full paper?
- Because a single past paper is one draw of topics, and you may already have seen it. Here each position takes the official question with the same number from one of the three papers, twenty from each year, so the sections, their order and their weight stay exactly those of the exam while the content covers three years at once.
- Is every official question included?
- No. A handful were left out of our bank because they could not be reproduced faithfully, for example a question with two identical options or one whose answer cannot be calculated from the data given. Every position still has an official question from another year.
- How is it scored?
- As in the real IMAT: +1.5 for a correct answer, −0.4 for a wrong one and 0 for a blank, for a maximum of 90 points. 20/90 is the eligibility threshold.
- Is it free?
- Yes. It runs entirely in your browser with no account and no payment: 60 questions, the 100-minute timer, your score by section and every explanation.
- How is this different from the other IMAT simulation?
- The IMAT simulation on this site uses 60 original UniTest Pro questions, each mirroring the IMAT 2025 question in the same position. This one uses the official questions themselves. Take both: one tells you how you do on the real thing, the other on questions you have never seen.
- Can I take it more than once?
- Yes, but the 60 questions are always the same, so a second attempt measures memory more than preparation. For fresh questions in the same format, the UniTest Pro app has a full IMAT question bank and timed simulations.
