Before you start

  • Original questions in the CEnT-S format. Written by UniTest Pro on the official CEnT-S syllabus and structure: same sections, same number of questions, same raw scoring. They are not exam questions.
  • 55 questions in 110 minutes. Five sections, each with its own clock: mathematics 30 minutes, reasoning on texts and data 30, biology 20, chemistry 20, physics 10.
  • +1 correct, −0.25 wrong, 0 blank. Maximum 55 points: the raw score, before CISIA's adjustment for the difficulty of your period. There is no national pass mark: each university sets its own minimum.
  • One section at a time. Inside the current section you can move around and change answers. When you close it, or its time runs out, you move on to the next one and cannot go back.
  • Results at the end. Score, section breakdown and the explanation for every question.

How the CEnT-S simulation works

55 questions in 110 minutes. Each section has its own clock and is taken one at a time, in the same order as the real test.

How the CEnT-S is scored

+1 for a correct answer, −0.25 for a wrong one and 0 for a blank, with five options per question: the maximum is 55. A blind guess among five options is worth zero on average; as soon as you can rule out one option with certainty, answering pays.

CISIA then adjusts the raw score for the difficulty of the questions in your test period. This simulation shows the raw score. There is no national pass mark: each university sets its own minimum score in its call for applications.

Managing the clock section by section

Mathematics and reasoning on texts and data have 15 questions in 30 minutes each, two minutes per question; biology and chemistry have 10 in 20 minutes; physics has 5 in 10. Unused time in a section is lost and you cannot go back to it.

It works the same way here: inside the current section you can move around and change answers, and when you close it, or its time runs out, you move on to the next one. No calculator is allowed in the real test, so leave yours aside.

The questions in this simulation

The 55 questions are original, written by UniTest Pro on CISIA's CEnT-S syllabus and checked before publication: they are not questions from the real test. Each section covers different topics of the syllabus, so one simulation shows you where the gaps are.

This is the structure of CISIA's 2026 rules. CISIA's structure page already shows a 65-question version with a Reading section (10 questions, 30 minutes), expected with the 2026/27 rules: check the rules in force when you book.

CEnT-S simulation: frequently asked questions

Is this CEnT-S simulation free?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser with no account: 55 questions, a clock per section, your score and the explanation for every question.
Are these real CEnT-S questions?
No. They are original questions written by UniTest Pro on the official syllabus, in the structure of the real test. They are not exam questions.
How long is the CEnT-S?
110 minutes for 55 questions, in five timed sections: mathematics (15, 30 min), reasoning on texts and data (15, 30 min), biology (10, 20 min), chemistry (10, 20 min) and physics (5, 10 min).
How is the CEnT-S scored?
+1 for a correct answer, −0.25 for a wrong one, 0 for a blank, up to 55 points. CISIA then adjusts the raw score for the difficulty of the questions in your period.
What score do I need to pass the CEnT-S?
There is no national pass mark. Each university sets its own minimum score in its call: check the one for the course you want.
Is the CEnT-S the same as the English TOLC?
The CEnT-S replaced the English TOLC from November 2025. It is the CISIA test for degree courses taught in English in engineering, sciences, biology, pharmacy, economics, psychology and agriculture.
Can I close a section early?
Yes, but the time left over does not carry to the next section and you cannot come back to it, as on the CISIA platform.
