Bocconi in English · original questions on the official structure · 50 in 75 minutes

Free Bocconi simulation in English

A full test with 50 original questions across the four areas of the Bocconi online test, 75 minutes on a single clock, the official scoring rules and, as on the day, no going back. Free, no sign-up.

Before you start

  • Original questions in the format of the Bocconi online test. Written by UniTest Pro on the public syllabus and the official structure: same areas, same number of questions, same scoring. They are not exam questions, which Bocconi does not publish.
  • 50 questions, 75 minutes. One clock for the whole test, as at Bocconi: you decide how long to spend on each area.
  • +1 correct, −0.2 wrong, 0 blank. Maximum 50 points. In critical thinking, where there are three options, a wrong answer costs −0.33.
  • No going back. At Bocconi you only move forward and an answer cannot be changed afterwards: it works the same way here.
  • Results at the end. Score, breakdown by area and every explanation.

Original questions © 2026 UniTest Pro, written on the public syllabus of the Bocconi online test. They are not exam questions. You may use them to study; reproducing or republishing them, in whole or in part, is not allowed.

Original questions, official structure

Bocconi does not publish past papers: there is no real test to mirror question by question, and anyone who claims to give you one is not. What the university publishes is the structure (the areas, how many questions each, the time, the scoring) and that is what this page reproduces, with the differences listed below. The questions are written by UniTest Pro on the public syllabus and checked before publication.

The questions do not come in blocks: Bocconi says they are distributed randomly through the test by both difficulty and topic, and here too the areas are mixed together. The order is always the same, though, because the 50 questions are always the same: the app is where they change every time. You see the breakdown by area at the end, in your result.

The score, and why two penalties

A correct answer is worth +1, a blank 0, a wrong answer −0.2, out of 50. In critical thinking, where there are three options instead of five, a wrong answer costs −0.33: with three options −0.33 takes away from a blind guess the advantage that −0.2 takes away with five. Below 17 points Bocconi does not consider a candidate assessable.

One caveat that changes the arithmetic: Bocconi writes that “some questions” in the critical thinking area have three options, without saying which. Here the whole area has three: our choice, not an official fact.

Frequently asked questions

Is the simulation really free?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, with no account and no payment: 50 questions, the 75-minute timer, the score and an explanation for every question.
Are these the real test questions?
No, and nobody can give you those: Bocconi does not publish past papers. These questions are original, written by UniTest Pro on the public syllabus and the official structure, and checked before publication. What matches the real test is the areas, the number of questions per area, the time, the scoring and the no-going-back rule.
Is this the test for Law too?
No. Law (Global Law) has its own test, with the same time and scoring but different sections: far less mathematics, more logic and verbal reasoning. Its free simulation is on the Bocconi Law page.
How is it scored?
As in the test: +1 for each correct answer, 0 for a blank and −0.2 for a wrong one, out of 50. In critical thinking, where there are three options instead of five, a wrong answer costs −0.33. Below 17 points Bocconi does not consider a candidate assessable.
Which questions have three options instead of five?
Bocconi says they are “some questions in the critical thinking area”, without saying which or how many. In our simulation the whole critical thinking area has three options and −0.33: that is our choice, not an official fact, and we say so because it changes the arithmetic.
Why can't I go back to the previous question?
Because at Bocconi you can't: once you press “next” the following screen appears and going back is no longer allowed (Instructions and rules 2026/27). Better to find out here than on the day.
How is this simulation different from the real test?
The test shows three questions per screen; here you see one at a time. The 50 questions and their order are always the same, while at Bocconi they change with every attempt. Bocconi groups data and statements and passage analysis under critical thinking without saying how many questions go to each: the 5 and 4 split is ours. And the questions, of course, are ours.
Can I take it more than once?
Yes, but the 50 questions are always the same: the second time you measure your memory more than your preparation. For new questions in the same format there is the UniTest Pro app, with its Bocconi bank in English and timed simulations.

Where to go next

Four attempts, no more

At Bocconi you get at most four attempts per type of test, and each one is paid. It pays to arrive at the first already trained: UniTest Pro has new questions and timed simulations in the same format, with the same scoring.
